I have a strong personal opinion when it comes to Radioshack: THEY SUCK! The products they sell are low-quality, over-priced, and I only resort to them when I have no other choice. Their consumer goods such as amplifiers, keyboards, and test equipment such as multi-meters and voltmeters are junk.

I never understood why they paid their employees “commission” on the junk they sold. Most of the employees I ever had the chance of interacting with had no clue about the parts I was looking for and/or what they did. Yes, they sell Sprint cell phones… who still uses sprint anyways?

It is mind-blowing this company is still in business, but now they want to be called “The Shack.” How about the “The Shack of ?” Let’s pretend for a second they didn’t get this idea from Pizza Hut (The Hut). A company I happen to admire despite the horrible service I had from the drive through last week. Pizza hut had a reason to change their name. They have increased their product line to include more than just pizza. However, Radioshack has always sold more than just radios. There is a great article about why Radiohack shouldn’t change their name. My 2 cents: they should change their name to “Junkshack”
